STEM BMX SERIES

BMX BIKE (Bicycle Motocross) is a type of bicycle designed specifically for extreme sports and performance, characterized by its 20-inch wheel diameter, compact frame, and sturdy construction. BMX bikes often undergo extensive modifications, including changes to the stem, handlebars, chainring, freewheel, pedals, and other components, to improve the vehicle’s performance and controllability. BMX bikes also have special exterior designs to showcase the rider’s personality and style. These bikes are widely used in various extreme sports and competitive events, such as jumping, balancing, speed, etc., to demonstrate the rider’s skills and courage.
SAFORT began with the production of BMX bike stems, using A356.2 material for heat treatment and paired with a cap made of forged Alloy 6061. From the design of the appearance to the development of molds, they have created over 500 sets of die-casting and forging molds specifically for BMX bikes. The main design goals focus on sturdy structures, high material strength, unique shapes, and lightweight designs to enhance the rider’s agility while maintaining strength.

FAQ

Q: What is a BMX stem?

A: A BMX stem is a component on a BMX bike that connects the handlebars to the fork. It is typically made of aluminum alloy and comes in different lengths and angles to meet the needs of different riders.

Q: How do the length and angle of a BMX stem affect riding?

A: The length and angle of a BMX stem can affect a rider’s riding position and handling performance. A shorter BMX stem will make the rider lean forward more for performing tricks and stunts, while a longer BMX stem will make the rider lean back more for added stability and speed. The angle also affects the height and angle of the handlebars, further affecting the rider’s riding position and control.

Q: How do I choose the right BMX stem for me?

A: When choosing a BMX stem, you need to consider your riding style and body size. If you enjoy performing tricks and stunts, you may choose a shorter BMX stem. If you prefer riding at high speeds or jumping, you may choose a longer BMX stem. Additionally, you should consider the height and angle of the handlebars to ensure comfort and good handling performance.

Q: Does a BMX stem require maintenance?

A: Yes, you need to regularly check and maintain your BMX stem. You should check if the bolts and locking nuts are loose and ensure they are tightened securely. You should also inspect the BMX stem for any cracks or damage and replace it promptly if necessary. If you are unsure how to perform maintenance, it is recommended to seek help from a professional technician.
